As Field Manager for ArcTerra, Brent is responsible for all aspects of the testing, evaluation, and inspections for our field projects. Brent was raised in Anchorage, Alaska and has spent his lifetime enjoying and familiarizing the Alaskan outdoors giving him the chance to explore and understand the unique geographic conditions found in southcentral Alaska. Over his 15 plus year with ArcTerra, Brent has earned an excellent reputation for his thoroughness and competence from both colleagues and peers. Receiving a Planning Degree from BYU, Brent’s knowledge of design and utility development lends an expertise to problem-solving on difficult sites. Certified by the Municipality of Anchorage, Brent stays current on the latest techniques, designs, and theories of septic design, maintaining a high level of expertise. Brent has the knowledge and practical experience to walk onto any site and evaluate the most effective alternatives for any necessary development or testing. His understanding of the unique geographic characteristics of any given property, including soil conditions, groundwater elevations, and ground topography is key to designing and developing a lasting product. Utilizing his knowledge of best-engineering-practices along with state and local code and regulations, Brent can evaluate existing well and septic systems and/or design new systems to meet client needs.
Brent is conscientious about providing clear and timely information to our clients at all times, helping to reduce the stress and maintaining the excitement of selling or buying a home. Offering a clear independent review, Brent helps ensure high integrity during the evaluation, design, and inspection of the whole process for clients.
